LLC Retreat: Capture Memories Tag Album

Day 2: Project #16 Capture Memories Tag Album designed by Sandie Dunne. Her blog is called The Paper Cove and can be found here.  Finished project size is 5" x 3-3/4" x 1-1/2".
The cover is embellished with die cut film strips in black and white card stock with a photo square as a mat.  There is also a black card stock die cut camera. The stamped message on the flag is oh so appropriate.  Die cut two layers of the heart and word "smile", adhere for that finished chipboard look on the flap. The flap has a magnetic closure and slips behind popped Marci image.

Marci is popped with foam squares. Original design is a black and white coloration. I chose to Copic color Marci for this projects. Color details used:
Hair: W2, W4, W6, W8
Hat, Shoes, Purse: E37, E31, E35, E41
Face: R11, R20, E000, E00, E11
Top: BG000, BG45, BG49
Skirt: W0, W2, W4
Back view:
On top of the project is a crushed vanilla seam binding and twine embellishment. Use a Crop-o-Dile to punch holes through all the layer of paper.
Slide open the magnetic closure flap:
........to reveal six top loading pockets. Each pocket has a different pattern paper.
On top of each pocket is a stamped "Date taken".
The mat inside the pocket has a die cut 1-1/2" Stitched Circle with a twine. The binding method used for this project I believe, is called a "hidden hinge" since the pages are secured in between the pockets.
Here's a side view:
Details: All stamps and dies can be purchased on the LLC site here.
Stamps used: Marci with Camera, Photo Elements Stamp Set
Dies used: Stitched Circles, Photo Elements, Smile
