Asian Marci Chipboard Album

Irina (owner and Grand Princess Designer) of La-la Land Crafts hosted a 2 day annual workshop event recently in Milpitas. The workshop had 12 projects. Stamp and Dies used for this album can be found herePaper and Card Stock Stickers used from my stash.  Used My Little Shoebox Cherry Delight Collection pattern paper (unfortunately this collection is no longer in available).  Solid paper card stock used is Recollections Brown and Bazzil Textured Pink. Making this album from scratch, finished album size: 7" x 6-1/4" x 1-1/2".  Finished chipboard pages 5-1/2" x 5-1/2".

What do I love about this album?  Everyone knows the brads included in the binder ring are not secure enough to hold the spine - they wiggle way too much.  The hitch screws used to anchor the binder ring are a great solution to provide the security needed for album rings.  The hitch extension does not get in the way of the pages.  The outside screws look way more professional (even though this album is covered with decorative paper).

Pages 2 and 3: More photo mat cut outs from the My Little Shoebox Collection.  The LLC Pagodas are die cut both in card stock as well as light weight chipboard to hold the photo mats in place.  Add the Small Scallop boarder from Papertrey Ink to the bottom of the page to finish the embellishing.
Pages 4 and 5: Side pockets using the Small Scallop Boarder Papertrey Ink die to decorate the edges. LLC Lantern dies embellish the pockets, finished off with a gold adhesive pearl.  Inside the pockets are photo mats made using the LLC Pierced Stitched Circles and Spellbinder Standard Large Circles.  Finish embellishing the photo mat with fan chipboard stickers from My Little Shoebox.  In the center of this spread is a cherry blossom tree chipboard sticker cut in half for each page also from My Little Shoebox.
