Robot Friend Birthday Surprise

Guy birthdays always present a little challenge. A while back, I found this cute printed paper Robot to make for a friend.  Using masculine colors for the gift bag and card worked out great.

Robot (photo of the robot further down in this post) is a printable from Rommy found here. There are several other designs in this site. The designs are free downloads with easy clear assembly instructions.  All that is needed are patience, scissors, and wet adhesive.

Stampin-Up On Your Birthday (retired) Stamp Set and Stampin-Up Small Scallop Punch used for both the bag and gift card holder. Card stock is Authentic Loyal Collection Durable Designer Paper

Here's the small bag made to fit the Robot.  White satin ribbon worked out well for the handles.
Remove the tissue carefully:
to reveal a new friend (glasses were added to the robot): Note this robot co-ordinates with the paper used for the bag and gift card. OMG - he is adorable!
When this robot is sitting on a desk, he is looking up with those big eyes!

Hope you will try making one of these robots. Have a crafty day.

Easter Egg Hunt Mickey Mini Album

I still have a stash of Stampin-Up Bitty Books so decided to make these cute memorable albums for the annual Disneyland Egg Hunt Event.  The books are 5" x 4" x 1-1/4". Love they have the chipboard sleeve and chipboard album with clear inserts that will hold 3" x3" photos.  For the Album front, Mickey was altered to have Rabbit ears head band and Rabbit feet. Details as well as SVG files used is detailed below at the end of this post.
Here's the front: Image is popped with foam squares
Yay - the insert is removeable and can be replaced with a photo.
